The legacy of Western artistry lives on through the Johnson family. Geoffrey Mix Johnson, raised in the rugged Missouri Breaks of Montana, infused his art with the essence of cowboy culture. His works, inspired by the likes of Charlie Russell and rooted in his rich heritage, captured the beauty and trials of the Western lifestyle.
After Geoffrey’s passing in 2009, his son, Christopher G. Johnson, took up the mantle. A cowboy at heart and a cancer survivor, Christopher overcame great personal challenges to honor his father’s unfinished works. His dedication to sculpting reflects the same grit and determination that defined their lives on the family ranch.
Christopher, now based in Prescott, Arizona, draws inspiration from his father's legacy and the Western values they both cherished. Each bronze sculpture tells a story—of courage, history, and the enduring spirit of the West.
